Aluminium (H2/H4 grade) of EC grade 61.5% compact circular stranded conductor is used for cables from 3.3 KV grade to 33 KV (E) grade.
As a leading HT XLPE manufacturer India, XLPE insulation is processed by Sioplas system, which is the most popular technology in cable manufacturing process throughout the world for MV grade, which offers equal properties in comparison with cable with dry curing process, is manufactured and tested in our most modern equipped test laboratory under stringent quality check. (refer to the WHY SIOPLUS chapter in our website). Conductor and insulation is shielded by extruded semiconducting tape with lapped semiconducting tape (optional).

For unarmoured cables, Gloster being one of the renowned LT Power Cable manufacturers in India recommends to offer only uni-sheath rather processing inner sheath and outersheath separately. This ensures better bondage of cores and effective strength of cables.
Despite working voltage and physical appearance being less and thin, combination of thermal - electrical -mechanical phenomenon are considered to be main constituent for contribution of safety aspect. These criteria do impart both at wiring stage and when cable is in charge. Our regular and standard production range in this category is single core 0.5 to 6 sqmm. Cable with higher sizes including multicore is also manufactured with FRLSH property on demand.

Bunching is made uniformly so as to achieve better bonding, tensile strength with uniform lay length . Conductor also conforms well to the DC resistance parameters as stipulated in BIS: 8130.
